guess if your not from canon mac u get no love. one winning season in 40-50 yrs and they get more ink than nc or duke. how about duplicating it two or three yrs in a row. im happy for them too but give it a rest. the hometown team gets no press and we only been practicing since november, not all year long and every day.

Applaud these kids for having a winning season, finally. Can we all get over ourselves and root for the locals. No doubt if you are matched against each other, sure you'll be bias. Otherwise, like our mothers often say, if you can't say anything nice, close the mouth.

The Observer-Reporter has a coverage area, not a hometown team.

As for C-M, winning the way they did and the fact it's a rare postseason win for them is very newsworthy.

The CM coverage does seem overdone.

How can CM coverage be overdone? It's not neccesarily their significant and unprecedented accomplishments that are attracting the attention, it's the manner in which they have won. Shocking win against the best team in the WPIAL(Mck), absolute thriller against Moon, and an unreal win against Shaler for CM's first ever TRUE playoff win. And to the person who said let them duplicate it a few years in a row, well anonymous if that were to happen then it wouldnt be news, it would be expected!

I'm not from C-M and I don't think their coverage is overdone it should be front page of sports. With a win like that and the years they've waited. Come on, give'em a break. Go C-M.
