HARRISBURG, - A Pennsylvania high school basketball referee died of an apparent heart attack after calling an overtime playoff game.

The District 3 game in Lewisberry had just ended Thursday when 50-year-old Tim Bartholomew slumped over in a chair in the locker room. Officials started CPR and called an ambulance. Officials say Bartholomew was taken to Harrisburg Hospital but could not be revived.

Bartholomew was calling a game between Hershey and Boiling Springs at Red Land High.
