Mother Nature unleashed a snow storm on the region that forced the WPIAL to reschedule several postseason events - it's also the first time this school year that weather made itself a pest.
All WPIAL Class AAA and Class AA boys and girls basketball games scheduled for today (Tuesday) have been moved to Thursday with the same time and sites as originally scheduled. There is one exception: The tripleheader scheduled for Baldwin High School (boys Serra Catholic vs. Trinity Christian, girls Elizabeth Forward vs. West Allegheny and boys Greensburg-Salem vs. Montour) have been moved to Gateway High School at the sames times.
Also, the 2008 WPIAL Team Rifle championships, which includes Trinity and Avella, has been moved from Tuesday to Friday.
