TVL's WPIAL football rankings

Lots of shakeup in the Class AAAA and AA rankings as Central Catholic, North Allegheny, Aliquippa and Keystone Oaks lost in Week 3. There are six new teams to enter this week's rankings.

And, finally, Clairton fans can rest easy. The Bears are back.

greensburg cc will be back at the top soon. congrats to mcguffey but they will not beat them again. this team is very well coached.

Hey Prexie, thanks for the congrats. However, GCC had the same coach when McG beat them two years ago. You have to be at a GCC/McG contest to see the intensity from both teams. McG played GCC tough last year and the game was closer than the score indicated. There is just something about a "recruited team" that gets the Highlanders pumped up. But, if they would possibly meet in the playoffs I agree that McG would probably lose this time around.GCC size and numbers are tough to overcome. Lets hope the Prexies & Highlanders have a good contest the last game of the season. See yoy there.

yea i dont like recruited teams either. they have some major atheletes on that team and the qb is a good one. unfortunatly mcg will destroy us, unless some of these kids get some heart at the high. mcg is good. and if they go to the playoffs ill be rooting them on.
