Thanks Mike. It is a shame that its come to this, but at the same time some people are just out of control.

Well its about time. This is supposed to be a forum for views and comments about high school CHILDREN. They are not perfect and neither are we. I applaud you Mike for this move. Good job.

How unfortunate people have to be so rude. But in today's society, what can we expect. No wonder there isn't much respect in sports today. Where have all those good coaches with good moral values gone. Let's not respect the other team, let's beat them into the ground. (said sarcastically, by the way)

Keep up the good work Mike - I enjoy this blog and I appreciate the work that you do.
(I read VL all the time and I don't live in Wash. County.)

Some people are just idiots; it's a shame that it has to come to this - but what else can you do?

KUDOS to you Mike Kovak. This type of behavior is becoming archetypical of frustrated, vicarious parents or "extremists on the Web" who anonymously slander people with whom they have an ax to grind. How can one dillutional person make so many posts........Must have had his lunch money stolen as a kid. I'm in the legal profession and this fellow reminds me of someone who would be on the Nurembeg Files. Sad case.

Can you start a CM/Trinity bash blog so we can get them off of this one? Every topic you start turns into a my-dad-can-beat-up-your-dad, immature, pointless CM/Trinity arguement. It is going to end up killing this blog.

Mike with this form of censorship why don't you just write your opinion(since anyone that that disagrees will be censored out) and just have yes or no polls. That is what you've turned this into. Agree with Czar Mike or the blog Nazi says "No post for you."

Thanks, Mike. This forum is about high school kids. It is difficult reading some of these comments because the viciousness is from the minds of adults. From Grandma

This is a great blog on our local high school sports. It's a shame that some people can't use it properly and leave the kid bashing out of it. Keep up the good work and don't let the "Nazi" bring you down.

mike this sucks, it really slows down the conversation(s) on your site.

Mike,

The only way to police this site is to have people register before posting. That way, if the slandering doesn't stop, you could always trace the IP address of certain people.
Hopefully, that would make some a little more responsible.

Mike:

This has become a lovefest blog. While I agree that some of the stuff was uncalled for the old format did provide opposing views & banter. You were handling things by removing the post now I agree this not only slows down the conversation but it is to similar in thought. I disagree with THSfan we do not need any Orwellian Big Brother tactics either. Bring back the banter and just remove those that get out of hand. Eddie & Guy are grown men & professionals that have been coaching for years.....they do not need your protection and this site has become boring.

Thanks Mike just a different take and a life long devils advocate.

Mike, I understand why you went to such a drastic extreme but it reminds me of catholic school day where if one kid talked everyone was punished. Please stop this parochial style of discipline it has taken the fun out of this blog. I've read this regularly and have never had a post removed but I may stop if it continues to take such a long period of time to get things posted. It's like reading yeaterday's paper all over again.
