I'm surprised the Patrtiot News has Steel High so low. Steel High beat Palmyra(3A) 61-30 and Central Dauphin East(4A) 56-29. Thats like Clairton beating West Mifflin and Connellsville back to back weeks. They did it in a convincing manner. Steel High is going to be a handfull for anyone they face in the 1A bracket.

Maybe D3 is down a little. Since the Pat News is in Harrisburg, those are the teams they cover.

I often found in the past that they usually overrated their teams in the state rankings. Maybe this is one case where they did not.

I wonder how Trinity got omitted from the AAA list of honorable mention?

Oh yeah, they are 1-4. Its gonna be a very long road to a PIAA championship with that start.

Thats very true. But beating 3A and 4A schools is definately eye opening.

You'd have to ask the Patriot-News of Harrisburg.
