I am the announcer for the Clairton football games. There are 3 games that are going to be of interest Friday night that are not being broadcast on MSA Sports. These games are Fort Cherry/Char Houston, Burgettstown/Avella and TJ/West Mifflin. I need someone that will be at each of these games who would be willing to text message scores to me periodically throughout the night. If you are interested please leave your email address and the game you will be attending and I will contact you. Thank you in advance.

My all-time favorite football announcer was the guy at Duquesne High School.

He was hilarious.

"We may not have a band, but we got a DJ and he's playing all the hits."

KIND OF AMAZING THAT MOUNT PLEASANT IS NOT MENTIONED AT ALL IN THE STATE. BEING THAT THEY ARE UNDEFEATED IN ONE OF THE STRONGEST CONFERENCES IN THE STATE, IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

When did this become the Clairton sports board?

I agree. How Mt. Pleasant isn't in the Class AA honorable mention is a bit curious. These were the same rankings that had GCC, which MP beat, ranked No. 1 to start the year.

Can Avella beat Burgettstown to cap their season? This would be like a huge step for their program to knock off FC and Burgettstown in the same year. When was the last time THAT happened? Fly high Eagles...Fly high...
