APB, Where are they now?

Last week's All Points Bulletin for former Carmichaels boys basketball standout Justin Voithofer was answered. An anonymous reader believes Voithofer may be a Catholic priest. The Varsity Letters would appreciate any conformation.

Moving on ...

This week the varsity letters is searching for former Ringgold High boys basketball star Mike Horan.

A 6-9 shot-blocking center, Horan swatted 210 shots during his varsity career with the Rams and his play led Ringgold to the 1995 PIAA Class AAAA championship. He averaged 18.4 points as a senior and made the USA Today Pennsylvania Honorable Mention All-America list. The PA player of the year in 1995 was Kobe Bryant.

Horan earned a scholarship to Fairfield, where he played in 66 games and made one appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Anyone with information regarding Horan is urged to contact the Varsity Letters.

That was one great Ringgold Team. Ringgold should have actually one a few more state titles during that time.

They had one slip away with Yancey Taylor and Brian Miller.

Where are all the athletes at in Ringgold now????

Haha. Well if Ringgold ever got some kids who would shoot the basketball in the off-season that would really help their cause.

In defense of the kids from Ringgold, it is people like your self who can acknowledge the situation at hand and don't do a thing to rectify it. I live in Finleyville, and I make it my goal to pick the kids from Donora up and take them to practice to keep them out of trouble. The kids have really good attitudes. It is negative people who do not encourage them to be more. If they are not going to be encouraged, then they will live up to expectations for the average person. The people who go over Monesson did not have the right people guiding them when they were younger and now it makes all the difference.

this is about the last "Where are they now"
Voithofer is def not a Catholic Priest. He is married and has young kids and still lives in the Carmichaels area. Now his cousin Mike (who by the way is around the same age so could understand the mix up) is part of the intercessors of the Lamb in Omaha
