Ringgold can compete in that section. REJOICE! We haven't played in an easier section since ever.

Whats sad is that a school district the size of Ringgold (in top 10% of AAA schools regarding enrollment) has to always be dropped in class to have success....The football team's success in 2010 and 2011 was a direct result of being in Keystone Conference. Those teams would have struggled to be the 3rd/4th place playoff team if in Big 8

Is it just a function of not having a lot of athletes in a large district?

Are talented players in all sports just not playing due to lack of interest or conflicts with a coach and thus reduces the talent pool?

Its just strange...
