CLAIRTON IS GOING TO BEAT ALL THERE OPPONENTS BY AT LEAST 55 POINTS. I'VE SEEN THEM PLAY AND THEY ARE GOOD REALLY GOOD. THEY WILL CHALLENGE THE WPIAL SCORING RECORD AND MOST SHUTOUTS IN A SEASON RECORD. IF U LIKE BLOWOUTS GO SEE THIS 2010 VERSION OF THE CLAIRTON BEARS. OH YEAH GET THERE EARLY BECAUSE THE GAME WILL BE OVER BY HALFTIME. WASH HIGH U GUYS ARE UP FIRST TO GET DESTROYED ON YOUR HOME FIELD. LOL BUT SERIOUSLY.

I am sure the previous anonymous post will get a few feathers ruffled. That said, Clairton is very strong this year. Desimon Green, Marquis Norris, Brandon Small, Trenton Coles, Josh Page, Carvan Thompson, Deon Ellis and a host of others may very well return to Hershey this year. If Clairton scores 600+ for the third consecutive year they will be the first team in PIAA history to do so I believe. As it is now, they became the first WPIAL team and third PIAA team to post back to back 600 point seasons.

Wash High, I think, is going to be a very good first game. Personally, I would have liked to seen Clairton schedule Ringgold or EF..heck even TJ to start the season, but at least this a good AA team that they scheduled this year. I think the potential is there for them to start out similar to last season if they dont keep themselves calm and collected, but my feeling is if they win the first game there is a very good chance they could go 16-0this year...honestly. They havent lost a step from last year...in fact they have gotten bigger.

Everybody keeps talkin clairton clairton clairton. but the thing is everybody is saying that they might not be as good as last year. but yeah right i think they are better than last year. from the scrimmage ive seen last week oliver didnt get one first down. yea i know its oliver but they have 11 players just like clairton. and to the last anonymous comment about clairton. cmon man ru serious? u actually think wash high will compete with clairton? stop it and ur a clairton alum well me too and i know these kids and ive talked to them they feel like they have to prove something once again a small mill town that has been to two straight PIAA championship games goin 1 and 1 any only being ranked number #2 in the state some school name Dunbar is ranked number #1 and guess what they needed to see that they would not be ranked #1 so they could feed off of that so good luck Black Hills Conference and non conference opponents Wash High and Western Beaver THE BEARS ARE ANGRY AND TRUST ME THEY ARE STILL HUNGRY.

Sorry Mike but these rankings for single A are a little off. North Catholics running back transfered to North Hills and as well lost to burgettstown in the openig scrimmage. I do not believe they have a righ to be in the top 5.

My friend, its called humility and being humble. Clairton has no need to trash talk. They are my team, and I love watching them on Friday nights, but I could do without the trash talking, the unsportsmanlike penalties and the taunting. Truth is if they were any other team I would probably absolutely hate them. Clairton and their fans dont need to trash talk. Let the play on the field speak for itself...believe me its enough.

Thanks for the North Catholic info. Oh well, they're in there for now.

To my New friend Mr. Clairton Alum. If u are from Clairton you would know. it would not be Clairton without the trash talking intimadating things we do. Now i agree i can do without the penalties, but come check out my Bears tonight. at yough high at 7pm, and see what u think of this years bears, but once again i can tell you buddy. its not gonna be pretty i hope we have no injuries after this game beacuse its nothing but practice scrimmaging yough im sure you know that.

I never miss a game. I was there last week when they played Oliver and Ill be there again tonight. Oliver did not gain a positive yard against Clairton's first team defense...I dont think Yough will fare much better. IF Clairton can stay healthy and avoid injuries, there isnt a team in Class A in the state of Pennsylvania that can beat this team...and that includes Dunmore who is ranked #1. Dunmore doesnt impress me. People are going to be very surprised to see how good this Clairton team is this year. In my opinion, they may be better than last year.

I See The Wash High Kids are saying there going to shock the world and beat clairton wow a kid from wash high told me he didnt think clairton was that good i think i will go to this game to find out if wash high can compete with those MIGHTY CLAIRTON BEARS THIS IS GAME OF THE WEEK FOR SURE CANT WAIT TILL FRIDAY AT LEAST THE PREXIES AREN'T SCARED OF THE BEARS.

lol...shock the world? not that good? Lets see...Wash High is a young, inexperienced team with a lot of question marks going up against a team full of seniors that just happens to be the defending state champs. not to mention, i believe clairton just set a scrimmage record by scoring 62 points in a half against yough on friday night. Yeah...my money is on clairton.
