Despite the fact that the rankings dont really matter, i appreciate the fact that someone recognizes that Clairton is the team to beat in the WPIAL Class A. I dont think the PG and MSA sports have figured this out yet.

Thanks Mike.

Did you give up on Fort Cherry Mike

Absolutely not. Thought about putting Beth-center and Fort Cherry in a tie for fifth. I thought that was a bit cheesy and the Bulldogs have won four straight in blowout fashion.

I think that Fort Cherry is over-rated. BC will go the deepest into the WPIAL playoffs out of the local class A teams. They will win the Tri-County South and get a better seed than any other area team in class A. The final will be Clairton vs. Rochester with Clairton getting the win.

As always, Class AA is loaded with strong teams.

Jeannette, Beaver Falls, Greensburg Central, Beaver and Keystone Oaks are demolishing opponents.

Sto-Rox is very good and Aliquippa, with two losses, is lurking.

Maybe not as talented overall as years past but still a large number of strong teams.
