CHARLEROI – Charleroi Regional police on Wednesday arrested two Monessen brothers on gun charges during a felony traffic stop.
Joshua Joseph Stepoli, 18, and Terrance James Stepoli, 19, both of 2060 Grand Boulevard, are charged with receiving stolen property and carrying a firearm without a license, court records show. The brothers are former standout athletes at Monessen High School.
They were passengers in a red Dodge Neon police stopped about 2:15 a.m. at First Street Charleroi Sunoco after receiving a report from Monessen police that someone in the car had pulled a gun on someone in that city, police stated in the affidavit.

The Stepolis, police said, both were carrying stolen handguns.
District Judge Larry Hopkins remanded them to Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond. Joshua Stepoli is free after posting bond, court records show.
