Anyone else notice the last 3 years the WPIAL winner came out of Ringgolds section?

2009 Peters Township
2010 Mt. Lebanon
2011 South Fayette

Section 4-AAAA is always tough.

There is no way Blackhawk should beat Montour. Montour has way more athleticism and they have a solid coach. The two best teams in AAA this year are Montour and South Fayette.

Just my opinion.

Then Ringgold better pick up their game then.. What exactly are you trying to say?

Really? Clairton they weren't even ranked last week what happened?

I heard that just like the first 2 rounds, Monessen leading scorer Jaisen Irwin again will not play in the semifinals against Wilkinsburg for a 2 day school suspension that happened LAST WEEK. Ridiculous if true! Irwin, the team, and the community don't deserve any more punishment.

Clairton is on a roll and just beat the top-ranked team.

If Irwin did what he's alleged to have done, he's lucky he's not in jail let alone on the basketball court. Kudos to Monessen for not putting basketball ahead of school safety.

Maybe he if he wanted to play so bad he shouldn't have got suspended...

I dont usually comment on basketball, but that Vincentian team is tough. I have never seen a team "out-clairton" Clairton. They played Clairton's game against them and really blew them off the court with it. They have size, they are quick (surprisingly so), they have great ball movement, they can shoot the lights out...a really tough team. Hats off to Vincentian. I hope they win it tomorrow night.
