That makes your quarters Clairton vs. Fort Cherry, Rochester vs. Chartiers-Houston, Avonworth vs. Monessen, Western Beaver vs. Sto-Rox.

Ringgold will play Belle Vernon for a chance at Heinz. Mark it down.

does peters have a shot to beat woodland hills first round?

There's a part of me that thinks the WPIAL might seed Ringgold and Belle Vernon in places where they could meet in the quarterfinals. That would be a guaranteed big gate.

Woodland Hills is highly talented. Peters Township would be a decided underdog but, remember, few gave Trinity a chance to beat Penn Hills as a No. 15 seed in 2005.

Of course, that team had two future Ohio State players, a future Penn Stater, a future player at Ohio U, a former starting QB at UConn and a running back named Ben Jennings who was Player of the Year.

Tough draw for Ringgold getting Central Valley. Losses to West Allegheny by 3, Montour by 5, and Hopewell by 4. This is a dangerous game.

RINGGOLD WILL LOSE TO CENTRAL VALLEY! STAMP THAT! BELLE VERNON WILL WIN THIS WEEK.

(6-3 )West Allegheny hosts (6-3)Trinity, who wins? Peter's Twp's situation is worse than Woodland Hills. They head to North Allegheny, the king of the hill.
