I now have more questions about who is good and elite in Class A then I do answers. Clairton obviously is at the top of the list and has blown out everyone they have played.

But the questions start with Rochester. Rochester blew out weak opponents but then struggled with Sto Rox. Now, Sto Rox is a good team, or so I am told, but they struggled mightly with Carlynton and Neshannock who, quite frankly, arent that good.

Then comes the mess in the Eastern Conference. An over-rated Springdale team lost to Avonworth early on, who lost a close one to Bishop Canevin, who got BLOWN OUT by Springdale. There is nothing spectacular about those three teams.

Then Monessen loses to North Catholic who hasnt beaten anyone of substance and struggles with 2-3 Carmichaels.

Beth Center gave up a lot of points to 2-3 California, but other than that have at least taken care of business otherwise.

Brentwood at 5-0 struggled against a poor deer lakes team, struggled against an 0-5 ss beaver team, was 7-7 at the half with Avella, and went to overtime with a 2-3 fort cherry team. outside of proving they can win tight games against bad football teams they havent shown me anything.

In Class A is it really Clairton and then everyone else WAY down the line? Is everyone playing for second place?

Don't be surprised if Rochester beats Clairton. Sometimes, coaching matter - at least if the talent is semi-close. And Clairton's coaching staff is lacking.
