All-state defensive end Kenny Wilkins, who will be a senior at Trinity High School, plans to announce his college decision at a press conference next Tuesday at noon.
Wilkins has 25 scholarship offers and, according to Trinity athletic director/football coach Ed Dalton, he selected five finalists - Virginia, Maryland, Pitt, Michigan and West Virginia. Recruiting websites continue to report that Michigan is Wilkins' top choice.

Considering how Dalton pushes kids toward the Big 11, I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up at Michigan.
That makes alot of sense, considering of the 25-30 football players who went on to play in college in the last 5 years, there have been what, 2 of went to the Big Ten????
I heard that Dalton once drove through Maryland, so I'd be surprised if he doesn't pick Maryland.
Smack Off
The conference is still called the big ten their guy and i hope he chooses Michigan. Ken Wilkins is a beast on the field and a great kid off, best of luck to him in the future.
Yes I obviously know it's still called the Big Ten even though it has eleven teams. They kept the name but were very creative and threw the number 11 into their logo.
Back to the original point, how mnay Trinity players have gone to BCS schools in the past 5 years?
Off the top of my head I can think three...Sweat, Yancich, and Miller (all in the Big 10+1).
Kid is holding a press conference? I hope he does not pull one of those stupid...stupid pick a hat stunts in some way. Have some class and just say where you are going and shut up.
When and where is the press conference.
i say pitt or psu
PSU hasn't offered. He has said that Michigan and Pitt are the favorites. His uncle is from Virginia and is supposed to be coming up to help out.
I'd be very susprised if he picks Pitt.
Cody Endres is a QB at UConn, a BCS school.
As for the presser, it's noon at the football field.
High school football field as they are replacing the turf at the stadium
Big Ten schools, not BCS

Good point Mike, I completely forgot about him. He actually played some this past season. Have any of the other three seen the field? (I'm guessing Sweat and Yancich redshirted)
Sweat saw time on special teams as a freshman.
Endres is in the running at QB for UConn and C-M grad Jeravin Matthews is in the mix at starting TB for Northwestern.
don't pick Michigan. Rich Rod will screw you over Kenny!!
