Great coverage of the PIAA girls playoff games played in your backyard last night. Peters TWP. lost, capping a phenomenal season. You remember Peters, they are in Washington county. I know if it doesn't start with Canon or end in nity it really doesn't matter, but just thought I'd inform your readers that Peters lost to Schenley at CANON MAC last night.

Hey, Ray Charles, did you not see the huge photo and story on the front page of the sports section? Also, the outcome of the girls game and the Bentworth boys game was teased on the front page of the paper. Seems like this should be sufficient, unless you want the sports writer to stop by your house on the way home from the game and personally tell you about it.

Don't give people any ideas.

What the original post may be refering to is the Peters Township girls story and Bentworth boys story are not up on our web site.

Maybe he meant Peters Township just doesn't get enough coverage. I mean, so many other schools in the area get boys soccer, girls soccer, girls tennis, hockey, boys and girls basketball, softball and baseball covered far more than PT.

Oh, and swimming. I think that's the list.

Seems like people from PT are a little sensitive after losing. I believe that you get plenty of coverage, yet you still feel slighted. Hey, Bentworth boys actually won, but who had the huge picture on the front of the sports page as well as the teaser? The losing PT girls. Get over yourselves, and good luck to Bentworth- the last area team fighting for a state title. Looks like the outcome of your poll was right on Mike.

And this just in: The O-R Athlete of the Week, featured on the front of the sports section Thursday and teased on Page One, is a swimmer from ... ta, da ... Peters Township. Yeah, we ignore them.

I can't think of a school that has received more coverage from the O-R the past couple of years than PT. If you're not happy with the coverage try picking up the P-G. You're going to need a magnifying glass to find it there.
