Thats my top 9...im sure theres more
We broke up our all-district team into big and small school last year and the plan is to stick with that.
But, if I were to name a starting five right now:
Mike Lamberti, South Fayette
Nate Bellhy, Fort Cherry
Craig Wolcott, Peters Township
Josh Valentic, Trinity
Tyler Henry, South Fayette
Lots of time remaining. I guarantee this changes by the end of the year.
Speaking of Marquis Brown, he is an easy choice for the most improved player in this area.
I didnt notice the Henry kid for South fayette...tell me about him Mike what Position.
Shooting guard
I think putting Nate Bellhy as one of your starting players would not be the best choice. He is not a very smart player, and about 75% of the time he comes down the court all he does is pull up a three. Yes, he is a good shooter, but when he misses its a complete waste of a possession. He is a good basketball player, but he is not an all around player. Kovak I would like to see a player like Mike Borrows from South Fayette replace Nate Bellhy in your top 5 OR players, and I'm sure a lot of people would agree. Borrows hits the boards a lot better then Bellhy, and he passes the ball.
Burroughs was certainly one of the guys I thought about for the top five. To be honest, I thought about putting the majority of South Fayette's starting lineup in there.
