High school hires woman football coach

Can anyone imagine this happening in the WPIAL?

WASHINGTON (AP) — A high school in Washington, D.C., has hired a woman to coach its varsity football team.
Natalie Randolph will be introduced Friday as the head coach at Calvin Coolidge Senior High School. She is believed to be the first woman to coach a high school varsity football team in the U.S.
Coolidge principal Thelma Jarrett said Randolph “quickly emerged as our top choice.”
Randolph replaces Jason Lane, who resigned.
The 29-year-old Randolph was an assistant coach at another D.C. high school, H.D. Woodson, from 2006-08. She also played in the National Women’s Football Association.

Maybe she'll come to the McGuffey football program and run their offense; it couldn't hurt after 25 years of the same predictable scheme (Delaqware Wing-T)!

This will be a great experiment.....Most, if not all, high school footnball coaches are fiery, loud, sometimes obnoxious, over-bearing, rude, condescending, at times.....Lets see if the female touch, which will probably not employ those same tactics as the guys, have a bearing on wins and losses..
