WPIAL Baseball All-Stars

The WPIAL Baseball Coaches Association, which will hold its eighth annual, All-Star games June 12 at the Burkett Complex in Robinson Township, has released the rosters for the teams.

The day begins with Class AA vs. Class A at 1 p.m., followed by Class AAAA vs. Class AAA at approximately 4 p.m.

brent williams from fort cherry hit 9 homeruns 2 grand slams and 28 rbi's. I feel that that's worth some form of recognition.

Any news on the upcoming playoffs? Predictions, teams to watch, players to watch? South Fayette must not have qualified I guess

I did not see tyler Pavin on any lists. I heard he quit the baseball team at burgettstown is this true, and if so does anyone know why?

Pavan quit because his coach did not start him after missing 2 or 3 consecutive practice during the easter holiday break. Also heard he mouthed off to the assistant.

I feel the Hopewell coaches did pick the right allstar this year. Matt Rubino worked hard and is an awesome player. Too bad, Coach Rubino and Coach Collela aren't that smart every other time
