CHARLEROI – Charleroi Regional police on Wednesday
arrested two Monessen brothers on gun charges during a felony traffic stop.
Joshua Joseph Stepoli, 18, and Terrance James
Stepoli, 19, both of 2060 Grand Boulevard, are charged with receiving stolen
property and carrying a firearm without a license, court records show. The
brothers are former standout athletes at Monessen High School.
They were passengers in a red Dodge Neon police
stopped about 2:15 a.m. at First Street Charleroi Sunoco after receiving a
report from Monessen police that someone in the car had pulled a gun on someone
in that city, police stated in the affidavit.
District Judge Larry Hopkins remanded them to
Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond. Joshua Stepoli is free after posting
bond, court records show.
