Penn Hills had Division 1 talent all over their team and had a scorer named Drew Schifino who went on to lead the big east in scoring at WVU. All I can remember from being in the stands for that game was that Peters had controlled most of the game but Schifino was unstoppable in the final quarter. I belevie he scored over 40, with a box and one on him most of the game and had the game winning basket.

That Peters team was loaded with talent. They also had role players, defenders and scorers and extremely deep bench. I think Lulich who was the observer reporter player of the year the next year was a junior and came off the bench. They won the section beating out Uniontown who also had outstanding team. That team in my mind was one of the best around in the last decade.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8441295825713070782.post-55695996735641289072009-02-18T09:18:00.000-05:002009-02-18T09:18:00.000-05:00Rodney Taylor is currently the president.Rodney Taylor is currently the president.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8441295825713070782.post-36263367860531642222009-02-18T07:36:00.000-05:002009-02-18T07:36:00.000-05:00What year did Peters go Quad A and were they ever ...What year did Peters go Quad A and were they ever a Double A team?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8441295825713070782.post-51733907483061159952009-02-18T07:22:00.000-05:002009-02-18T07:22:00.000-05:00I believe they were the number one seed in AAA not...I believe they were the number one seed in AAA not AAAAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
